Exciting News for 2026
Southwell Running Club is delighted to announce the first ever Southwell Summer Scamper 10k, taking place on 14 June 2026 and raising funds for The Reach Charity.
Working with NTU Brackenhurst Campus, we have created a scenic and enjoyable route. Starting from Southwell Rugby Club, the course follows roads and trails around the university campus, passing the Orangery and main building and offering beautiful views of both the countryside and the town. This community event is open to all, but places are limited, so we recommend signing up early.
The race will be chip-timed, fully marshalled and supported with water stations and first aiders along the route. All finishers will receive a medal. Children’s races will also be held, with further details available early in the new year. Whether this will be your first 10k or your fifty-first, we encourage you to take part in what promises to be a wonderful addition to the Southwell community calendar.
